What is Zapshot community? 

The Zapshot community aims to deliver a fun, safe space for everyone to communicate. We strive to bring people together and build a community where everyone wants to come back to.

Code of Conduct

We strive to keep our community a positive space that can be enjoyed by all. We want to achieve a lively place of thought-sharing and inspiration. We also ask that every Zapshot user be respectful of this space and each other at all times.

Acts That We Encourage

Being Kind and Engaging With the Community — Jump right in and get to know other members of the community! We highly encourage you to:

• Say hello! Welcome new members into the community.

• Share feedback. You can contact us here.

• Having respectful conversations — We believe that everyone should feel supported and welcomed. 

• Being considerate and kind. We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

• Helping others. Your voice matters and is your contribution to the community, so jump in and provide feedback, support, or advice - but make sure it’s constructive!

• Respecting everyone’s privacy. Being part of this group requires mutual trust. 

• Allowing each other time to share. Excited, expressive conversations are great and likely to happen here, but ensure that you’re giving someone space to provide their input or perspective into the conversation.

• Understanding that there are different approaches to solving problems. If you’re uncertain about someone else’s approach, ask a question to explore areas of uncertainty. Read carefully and reflect on how and why the approach could work.

• Using appropriate language. We encourage mindfully choosing your words to keep the community welcoming.

Acts That We Do Not Tolerate

​

Hate Speech — Hate speech of any form is strictly prohibited. We do not condone any content in any form, such as comments, imagery, use of Emoji, Direct Messages (DMs) and more, that promotes, advocates, or condones racism, sexism, bigotry, hatred, or violence towards individuals or groups based on factors such as but not limited to: race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.  We have the authority to immediately remove offenders from the community.

Fraud — We do not tolerate fraudulent behaviors. Any attempt to make a profit illegally by tricking other members of our community will not be accepted.

Spamming — No unsolicited, unwanted messages with the intention of disrupting or harming the community are allowed.

 

Sexual content  — Posting nudity, explicit or suggestive content, whether to make a profit or not, is strictly prohibited.

Illegal activities - Do not use Zapshot for any unlawful activities, including but not limited to, promoting, facilitating, or partaking in criminal activity, such as purchasing, selling, exchanging, or aiding in the sale of illegal goods.

Disrespectful manners — As mentioned in the guidelines, we are a respectful community. We do not accept or welcome impolite or offensive behaviors, including the use of explicit/vulgar language, images, and/or messages.

Selling products or services — We do not allow direct selling or advertising on this platform

About Safety

 

We prioritize user safety and wellness. Usage is not permitted for individuals under 13 years of age, and minors should use the app under the supervision of a guardian. In some regions, additional age limitations may apply based on local laws. If an account is identified as belonging to a user under 13, it will be removed.  If users believe they've been wrongly removed, they can contact us and appeal the decision, which is potentially manageable through our website. We ask all users to participate in a respectful and considerate manner.

What to Expect When Rules of Violated

Our Community Administrators will be actively monitoring for any violations of the rules and will act accordingly. 

However, if you are the subject of, or witness to any violations of these Community Guidelines, notify an Administrator to address the situation. 

If we determine that someone is behaving disrespectfully or threatening the well-being of the Zapshot community, we may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including removal from the community.

We will seek to resolve conflicts in a manner that is positive for the community.

Acknowledgement and Terms of Use

By using Zapshot, you are agreeing to abide by our Community Guidelines at all times.

 

The definitions of various subjective terms such as “inappropriate” will be decided at the sole discretion of us.
